Tamworth Aboriginal Medical Service-Aboriginal Corporation (TAMS-AC) is committed to delivering high quality medical care that addresses the unique health needs and challenges of individuals and families. We strive to enhance the health status of and provide culturally appropriate holistic primary health care to Aboriginal people living in the Tamworth, Gunnedah and Liverpool Plains LGA’s. • Work Placement Service Program: providing structured workplace learning activities for students studying VET courses as part of their HSC
• Get back in the Game: supporting youth aged 15 to 21, to engage in training and pathways to employment
Our aim is to work to increase knowledge and opportunities for careers and further education for youth, providing support though career mentoring, planning and brokerage, resumes, interview skills and work experiences.
